Is a board and train good for aggressive dogs?
If you’re struggling with an aggressive dog, a board and train facility may be the perfect solution. These facilities provide intensive training for your dog, and when they’re finished, your dog will be much more socialized, obedient, and well-behaved. This can be a great option for dogs that have exhibited aggressive behavior in the past, as it can help to correct these issues and create a more balanced and obedient pet. In addition to the behavioral benefits, board and train facilities can also provide much-needed exercise for your dog. Dogs that are left at home all day often become bored and restless, which can lead to undesirable behaviors and higher anxiety. A board and train facility will keep your dog active and engaged, which can help to reduce the likelihood of them acting out aggressively. If you’re considering a board and train for your aggressive dog, be sure to research the facility and staff thoroughly to ensure that they’re reputable and experienced in working with aggressive dogs. Don’t just trust anyone to watch your animal! Luckily our expert dog trainer Wesley Dawe has an astounding reputation with all of our customers and animals. With the right training through the Good DaweG dog training program, your dog can overcome their aggression and become a well-behaved pet. Schedule a consultation with Wesley today to see how we can help your dog!

Is it ever too late to train a dog?
No, it’s never too late to train a dog! Even dogs who are considered “seniors” can learn new commands and obedience skills with the right training program. In fact, older dogs often have the advantage of already knowing basic commands and being housebroken. This means that they can usually complete a training program in a shorter amount of time than puppies or younger dogs. There are many benefits to training your dog, even if they are considered to be “old.” First and foremost, training helps to keep your dog mentally stimulated and can help prevent boredom-related behavior problems. Training also teaches your dog how to obey commands and behave appropriately in social situations. This can make life much easier for both you and your dog and can help to keep them safe in potentially dangerous situations. Finally, training is a great way to bond with your dog. The time spent working together on obedience exercises will help to strengthen the bond between you and create a deeper level of trust. So, if you’re considering enrolling your dog in a training program, don’t write them off just because they’re not a puppy anymore! Good DaweG offers programs that are specifically tailored to individual dogs based on their age, breed, and energy levels. With Wesley as your trainer, your dog can learn everything they need to know to be a happy, well-behaved member of the family.
