Wow! What a difference a great trainer makes! Wesley has a systematic approach to training dogs that is balanced and effective. We have been amazed at the consistent progress and change in our huge doodle Steve. Wesley communicates very well and is straightforward and honest with us as owners too, which has helped us to continue the effective training that he is employing with our big guy. I could not recommend a trainer more highly than Wesley!

I heard of Good DaweG through a coworker, so I gave Wesley a call to work with my minature Bernedoodle. Wesley shared the options that he had and we signd up for 7 private lessons. He was flexible with his schedule and gave great tips/training for me and my dog. Searching for a trainer is difficult becasue you never know if they will be the right fit. My dog already knew basic commands but really needed that extra step in her training. Wesley went above and beyond for her and we quickly saw great improvements in her leash walking, recall and reactivity. I was referred to Wesley by a friend and I’m so happy to have met him. We did a few private lessons and a 5 day board & train for our miniature Sheepadoodle. I could not recommend enough!!! From the moment he met our dog, he had an impact on her. The 5 day board & train really enforced everything that we had been practicing during our private lessons. She came back so well behaved and he taught us how to continue what she had learned into the future. We get compliments all the time on how well behaved she is!!! Wesley is extremely professional and communicative. We got pictures (attached to the review) everyday during the board & train, as well as an update phone call at the end of the day. I felt very safe leaving her with him. We highly recommend Good Daweg!!!!

I recently rescued a pit mix from the shelter. He is a sweet dog but over time developed some bad manners (jumping and nipping due to curiosity and excitement). Our walks are not great either. He pulls and get very fixated on things. I live in an apartment complex in close proximity with people. I dread taking him out and even started developing anxiety each time we go on walks. My dog Remy is not food motivated so it was very difficult to train him. Wesley did a great job with Remy. I did the 5 day program and our walks are so much more pleasant (like night and day). He heels by my side now and sit when I ask. “Leave it” has also been very helpful as he is curious with everything. Those commands made a world of a difference on our walks. Seeing more structure in my dog (which was needed) really gave me more confidence as his owner. It was a great training experience for me as well, I was able to reflect and correct what I needed to change. I am very thankful for Wesley. He is a honest person. During the training he kept me informed on the progress through videos and phone calls. Active communication which is very much appreciated. I am very glad to have an effective trainer and someone I can trust for any future behavioral problems my dog may encounter. Thank you Wesley, you are amazing!

Wesley was amazing and I’d recommend him to anyone! Yesterday was our first private lesson with Wesley and I was so impressed with how he handled my pup. I have already seen improvements in my dog and it was her first night to sleep through the night since I’ve had her. Wesley is a life saver and I can’t wait for our next lesson!

Wesley took good care of my dog Bubba. We did the 5 day basic training. Bubba is a very energetic dog and had no basic skills when he went to good Daweg. Bubba is now a great dog and listens well. Highly recommend Good Daweg!

Wesley is an awesome trainer. You can see that he has a true passion for what he does. We sent our 2 year chocolate lab - Charlie for the 10 day board & training program. My husband and I are happy we made the investment. Charlie is doing great and follows directions a lot better. Wesley will give you updates and include pics and videos of your pup through the training process. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Wesley!

Wesley is literally the dog whisper!! In 5 days, he taught my dog all the basics and also broke some bad habits like fence aggression. I enjoy my dog so much more now that he is a good daweg! I love that I can take my dog in public, and know he is going to act appropriately! Thanks again & we will be back!
